Some details on this page are not settled yet. What this page describes is real: it is how the restaurant actually works. The specific addresses, numbers and timings are not, and every one of them is marked below. They are waiting on the restaurant, and each must be filled in before launch.

African Palace cooks West African and Gulf food to order, for delivery and for collection. This page says who that is and how ordering works. Where something is not settled yet, it says so rather than filling the gap.

What we cook

Two traditions on one menu — jollof, suya and the rest of West Africa alongside mandi and the Gulf grills — rather than one borrowing from the other. The menu is the whole of it: what is on the menu is what the kitchen makes.

Where we are

We take orders in Saudi Arabia and in Nigeria. Delivery runs inside defined zones, and if your address falls outside every one of them, checkout tells you before you pay rather than after.

When we are open

Ordering follows the kitchen rather than the website. When the kitchen is closed, checkout says so instead of taking money for food nobody is there to cook.

Ordering

You do not need an account. A guest order needs a name and a phone number and nothing else — the number because it is how the kitchen asks whether chicken is acceptable when the goat has run out, and how a rider outside the wrong gate finds the right one.

Prices are shown in Saudi riyal, Nigerian naira or US dollars, and every total — delivery and VAT included — is worked out by us at checkout rather than by your phone. The amount you are charged is the amount on the confirmation page. Card details never reach this site: payment happens on the gateway's own page, and what comes back to us is a reference and a result.

Allergies

Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish and sesame, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of traces of them. Tell us before you order, in the note on the order or by phone. If an allergy is serious, ring us — do not rely on the menu alone.

Talking to us

Anything about an order already placed is fastest by phone, because the kitchen can still act on it. Everything else has a page of its own.
